The following paperwork is required for every mare visiting the Stud coming from Ireland or England (for foreign mares please contact us).
- Mares Passport
- C.E.M: One negative clitoral swab taken after the 01/01/21.
- E.V.A: One negative blood sample taken after the 01/01/21 and within 30
days of arrival.
In the event of a positive result, a repeat sample, showing a stable or
declining titre, taken 14 days after the initial sample, will also be required. - Coggins Test (or ELISA): One negative sample to be taken after the
01/01/10 and within 30 days of arrival. - E.H.V 1,4 Vaccine: All mares foaling on the premises must be vaccinated
against “Virus Abortion” at 5, 7 and 9months (or equivalent) of pregnancy. - All mares coming to foal on the farm will be vaccinated for Rotovirus on arrival.
